Kenneth L. Rexinger, M.D., is board certified in Internal Medicine and has practiced in Mission Viejo since 1992. His practice is dedicated to serving those with complicated health issues, including, but not limited to, heart disease and diabetes. Dr. Rexinger studied medicine at Loma Linda University Medical School where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency. He is a certified Diplomate by both the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Rexinger is actively involved with the Medical Staff at Mission Hospital. Over the last 16 years, he has served twice as Chief of Medicine, served as Chair of Credentials, Chair of Care Management, and in 2007, Dr. Rexinger was Chief of Staff. He also is a member of the Mission Hospital Board of Trustees. Presently he sits on the leadership council for the St. Joseph Health System, of which Mission Hospital is a member. Dr. Rexinger’s philosophy of patient care focuses on the development of long-term relationships that provide for the whole person, emphasizing wellness and prevention. Josh M. Randall, M.D., is a practicing physician at Mission Hospital with a specialty in Urology, focusing on diagnosis and treatment of the urinary tract and disturbances of the urinary and reproductive organs in both males and females. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California in San Diego, graduating in the top two percent of his class. In May 1999, he received his doctor of medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, also graduating with honors. Since completing his surgical internship and urologic residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida, Dr. Randall has focused his practice on laparoscopy and other minimally invasive surgeries, male and female urinary incontinence, treatment of kidney stones, and prostate cancer,. He has also received special training in robotic surgery, using the da Vinci ® S Surgical System, also known at Mission as “Vitek.” Vitek is state-of-the-art robotics used to assist in removal of the prostate gland and cancer in the kidney. The robotic arms are used to assist the surgeon's hands. This technology allows for more precision than traditional surgical methods and results in less blood loss and pain, lower risk of complications, shorter hospital stays and quicker recovery times than those who have open surgery. Dr. Randall has extensive research and presentation experience on a variety of urological diagnosis and treatments and has been published in numerous medical journals such as Journal of Urology, Academic Medicine and Andrology. He is a southern California native and enjoys scuba diving, golfing, traveling, cooking and going to the theatre. |
